Hidden on Amazon is a secret, legal way to find discounts on the popular online store. Here is a simple step by step guide, thanks to Wired. If it’s a bit confusing, scroll down for some links to take you straight to the secret discounts:
- Click on the store you want to buy from - for example, books.
- Look in the URL for the number that follows “node=”. Copy it. For books, this is “266239”.
- Paste this into your browser, replacing “number” with your five digit code:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/search/?node=number&pct-off=75-99
- The page that loads will show all the products in that category with a 75-99% discount. You can play with the discount range by adjusting the numbers 75 and 99.
