Apple’s official hint that there will only be one iPhone next week?

Apple just sent out invites to its iPhone event next week. It includes the date, time, and location of the event… and a phone icon, with a notification badge saying “1”.

There’s been debate as to whether there will be an iPhone 5 and an iPhone 4S, as some sort of beefed-up iPhone 4, but as the event draws nearer without any leaked shots of a new iPhone 5 design, it’s looking more like Apple will only release the 4S. I say only, but it’ll still be a stunning product.

Is this invite Apple’s official hint that they’re only announcing one iPhone next week?
